The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew will welcome the Australian Shakespeare Company as part of a series of outdoor theatrical performances.

The grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site will stage A Midsummer Night's Dream from 28 July to 29 August 2021.

Staged beneath the heritage trees at the Berberis Dell, Kew Gardens provides a genuinely appropriate setting for a summer's evening with Shakespeare.

This comedy of enchantment and transformation is brought to life within a dream-like woodland, filled with feuding fairies, eloping lovers and a hapless troupe of actors.

There's magic in the air alongside wild thyme, oxlips, nodding violets, luscious woodbine, sweet musk

roses and eglantine.
