Welcome to the first AllWays Traveller's Journal of 2021.

Travelling near and far again will be so well worth the effort

The first shoots of recovery from the Coronavirus are beginning to appear everywhere as the world takes the first tentative steps back to normality.

And though travel remains a challenges I know we will all be ready and oh so willing to embrace it – when the time comes.

All of the extensive research undertaken in recent months shows we have lost none of our desire or determination to travel, when it is safe and possible to do so.

We may well find additional conditions imposed us when travelling again (as in the aftermath of 9/11) but it will be so worth the effort.

Whether it's a short visit to a local tourist attraction or that first, post-virus, long-haul trip.

Safe and successful travelling.
