The Banyan Tree Krabi has a new longtail boat for day trips and island hopping for hotel guests and private bookings.
The White Pearl has been built by local craftsmen using materials sourced from around Krabi Province, but with specific modifications to enhance luxury and comfort on board.
It will be providing half-day boat trips to nearby Koh Hong or a full-day four islands tour among the islets in the Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park.
Uninhabited but for sea birds, monkeys and monitor lizards, the best known of the four islands is Koh Hong, which faces Tubkaek Beach, and is known for its volcanic lagoon in the centre of the island.
The Banyan Tree Krabi itself has 72 suites and villas facing the sunset and the four islands. The Banyan Tree Group has global portfolio of hotels, resorts, spas, golf courses and residences.
