Beyond Green hotels, lodges and resorts

The Preferred Hotel Group's Beyond Green brings together 'forward-thinking properties around the world that are committed to contributing to the social and economic wellbeing of local communities'.

When travellers book and stay with Beyond Green's members they are directly helping to give back to local people in positive and impactful ways.

Beyond Green's sustainable hotels, lodges and resorts have partnered with conservation and wildlife programmes and community development initiatives.

These include working with local schools and helping to combat illegal poaching.

Five Beyond Green Members with Community Partnership Programmes

The Brando,Tetiaroa, French Polynesia

To help protect the coral reefs, archaeological sites, and the abundant flora and fauna of the atoll, the resort co-founded The Tetiaroa Society with local community representatives, global sustainability leaders, scientists, and researchers.

The resort has installed an innovative Sea Water Air Conditioning system, which harnesses deep-sea water to air-condition the resort without harmful chemicals.

It recently built an eco-station for the society to host researchers from all over the world.
