Bird Photographer of the Year
The annual Bird Photographer of the Year Competition organised by conservation charity Birds on the Brink saw photographers from around the world submit artistic images of birds, which were judged by an expert panel
The winning entry, End of the Day, was an impressionistic image of a European Shag taken at Vardø in Norway by Majed AlZa'abi from Kuwait.
The winner of the Young Bird Photographer of the Year 2020 was Adam Lake from the UK with an image of a Mute Swan entitled Seeing Double.

Birds on the Brink is a grant awarding charity supporting bird conservation around the world with small grants that will do the most measurable good while also being 'a voice for the embattled avian world and actively speak out for the benefit of birds and conservation in general'.
