Club Med Seychelles
The Club Med Seychelles Resort , which will open from October 2020, will be the latest addition to the brand's Exclusive Collection of resorts worldwide.
The resort is set on its own private island within 220 hectares of a preserved national park location and 15 minutes by speedboat from Victoria-Seychelles airport in Mahe.
The Seychelles is a year round destination with temperatures between 24 – 32 degrees Celsius and minimal rainfall.
The Exclusive Collection resort is focused for families and couples and will offer snorkeling, sailing, hiking, tennis and archery.
Guests will also be able to focus more on their health and wellness with the island offering a Zen hideaway with a calm pool, a yoga school with a wide range of classes, meditation and wellbeing workshops and a chillout library.
The Seychelles is one of the most eco-friendly destinations in the Indian Ocean and Club Med Seychelles is supporting a number of eco initiatives around the resort.
It is committed to having no single use plastic on the island, electric buggies around the resort and fuel free watersport options.
The resort also has an onsite bottling plant and will be running dedicated family activities to help understand more around the marine life and diving near the resort at Sainte Anne Marine.
These activities are set to include educational snorkeling trips, coral reef restoration and turtle preservation activities.
Club Med
Club Med, founded in 1950 by Gérard Blitz and Gilbert Trigano, was the pioneer of the all-inclusive concept, and now offers nearly 70 premium resorts in g locations including North and South America, Caribbean, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Mediterranean.
It will open 14 new resorts within the next three years.
