Colombia : 'the most welcoming place on Earth'

Colombia is promoting itself as the most welcoming place on Earth.

The South America country, with territories in North America, is bordered by the Caribbean Sea, Panama, Ecuador and Peru, Venezuela, by Brazil and with the Pacific Ocean.

The country aims to stimulate international tourism growth and ignite travellers' wanderlust by spotlighting the warmth and kindness of its populace.

It is led by ProColombia, which promotes international tourism and foreign investment, and comes after extensive research.

This identified the core essence of Colombia to be the warmth and kindness of its people.

ProColombia's Neighbourhood of Neighbourhoods webpage has an interactive map 'entices' visitors to discover each of the six Colombian regions.
