The Colorado Cattle Company & Guest Ranch, a member of the Dude Ranchers' Association, has 800 head of cattle grazing thousands of acres of Colorado grasslands.
The ranch owns some 70 well-bred and highly trained quarter horses selected for good bloodlines, great training and sensible attitude.
Guests will get an average of 50 hours of horseback riding each week. The season, spring, summer or fall, dictates the daily activities that range from mending fence to branding, feeding and driving cattle. Guests can participate in the ranch working as they feel inclined.
Accommodations include private quarters in the renovated 1897 bunkhouse and newly constructed log cabins.
