Dragon Slayer, Warwick Castle's new evening show is scheduled for eight performances:

  • Friday 3 and Saturday 4 August 2018
  • Friday 10 and Saturday 11 August, and
  • Friday 24 to Monday 27 August 2018.

  • The spectacular will return in 2019

Building upon Warwick Castle's reputation for bringing history to life through spectacular shows, Dragon Slayer resurrects the tale of the 10th century warrior Guy.

It showcases 'the epic journey of Guy of Warwick as he battles beasts to win the heart of Princess Felice, the Earl of Warwick's daughter' and is the first night-time spectacular created exclusively by the Castle.

The event combines fire jousts, equestrian acrobatics and stunts and an interactive procession through the Castle grounds to the Central Courtyard where 'Guy of Warwick faces his final and most challenging battle'.

This final battle takes in a projection and light show onto the Castle's walls and concludes with an 'epic battle of man versus dragon' featuring real flames and pyrotechnics.
