Saudi Arabia is home to a vast array of flora and fauna including animals like the oryx, the Nubian ibex and the iconic Arabian leopard.
Through the National Center for Wildlife and the Saudi Green Initiative – designed to combat climate change and protect the environment – Saudi Arabia has committed to protecting 30 per cent of the kingdom's marine and land habitats by 2030.Thirty per cent doesn't sound like a lot, but I guess any commitment is worthwhile. Meanwhile, visitors can acquaint themselves with the largely unknown natural wonders of Saudi Arabia with this list of attractions designed to celebrate the most recent Earth Day.
