Larnaka

Larnaka is a port city on the south coast of island of Cyprus.

It's known for Finikoudes Beach, a sandy strip in the city center backed by a palm-lined seaside promenade, with a string of bars lining the waterfront at Mackenzie Beach.

Just offshore, the MS Zenobia wreck is a popular dive site.

The 9th-century Church of Saint Lazarus contains the tomb of the saint.

Larnaka is a year-round destination, and its commitment to preserving traditions and landmarks will continue with projects such as :

Proposed developments include a village farm in Agios Theodoros, showcasing Cypriot farm animals, local greenery, and traditional products.

Themed nature trails in the Rural Larnaka Honey Villages and community-specific urban furniture designs in Lefkara, Athienou, and Kiti will celebrate the distinctive character of these areas.

Larnaka's authentic rural and mountainous villages are part of the region's charm, and maintaining their traditional character and supporting the communities, such as Agios Theodoros and Lefkara, is at the core of the Larnaka Tourism Board's activities.

Revitalising Larnaka's beekeeping heritage

There are three new bee-themed parks in Melini, Odou and Ora villages as part of the cluster of eight Rural Larnaka Honey Villages that share a beekeeping and honey production history.
