Longleat, which offers visitors a safari park, stately home and special events, was the first stately home to fully open to the public back in 1949 and was the location for the original drive-through Safari Park in 1966.
The drive-through safari is home to animals including giraffes, tigers, cheetahs, monkeys and lions, with the Jungle Cruise enabling viewing of gorillas in their lakeside along with sea lions andhippos.
Alongside the animal encounters Longleat has the newly-opened Little Explorers' Garden for toddlers, the giant Hedge Maze, Rockin' Rhino family ride and an Adventure Castle.
Longleat House is one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain sitting in 'Capability' Brown parkland, lakes and formal gardens.
'Marvellous Monsters' celebrates the world of insects and aims to highlight the softer side of bugs and the vital role they play in keeping our planet alive. Seasonal Events
