Northern Finland has launched a new hotel experience where a glamping cabin is towed into a remote wilderness location, deep in the Arctic Circle.
The new mobile room, which includes a clear Aurora viewing roof, is located six kilometers east of Kilpisjärvi, Finland and is available to book through Off the Map Travel for any guest travelling until mid-April 2018.
It will then reopen in January 2019.
Guests will also have use of the cabin's snowshoes and kicksleds giving the chance to explore the local area during the stay.
The wilderness surrounding Kilpisjärvi is known for its remote and uninterrupted Arctic tundra.
Located away from any manmade light pollution, it gives guests the best possible opportunity to experience the Northern Lights and enjoy the silence of the Arctic plains.
Three mobile rooms are available to book, each sleeping two people.
The Kilpisjärvi area has more clear night skies and records more Northern Lights activity than any other place in Finland.
