Natural Habitat Adventures has added the 16-passenger M/C Ocean Spray to its fleet of privately chartered ships in the Galapagos islands.

As the newest privately chartered expedition yacht in fleet, this 113-foot motorized catamaran is a high-performance vessel designed for stability and maneuverability.

It will offer an itinerary through this volcanic archipelago that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador.

With a pair of top naturalist guides on board, Ocean Spray guests enjoy the lowest guide-to-guest ratio in the islands.

The yacht offers an itinerary designed for up-close, private encounters with sea lions, blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas and more in some of the Galapagos' most remote and lesser-known areas.

Each Ocean Spray 10-day Classic Galapagos itinerary begins with a trip to the Andean highlands, where guests sleep at a 1691 colonial hacienda, have a locavore Ecuadorian feast and watch for wildlife including Andean condors and bears.

Guests also enjoy an exclusive opportunity to spend a night at Nat Hab's Tortoise Camp in the Santa Cruz highlands, where wild tortoises roam free.

Galapagos Islands, Ecuador

Experience the Galapagos from the luxurious M/C Ocean Spray, a 113-foot mega-catamaran built in 2011 and designed to cruise the islands in elegance and comfort.

This high-performance motor catamaran with a 43-foot beam accommodates a maximum of 16 guests on two decks. The third-floor sundeck offers 360-degree views.

The ship's small size ensures intimacy and maneuverability. Eight spacious double cabins and one smaller single cabin each have private balconies with chairs and a table for quiet lingering.

A sprawling sundeck offers sumptuous lounge chairs and ample room for socializing, plus a Jacuzzi. Ensuring you're prepared for every possible immersion in the wonders of the Galapagos, the catamaran is equipped with kayaks, snorkel gear and wet suits.

Cabin interiors reflect a crisp blue and white nautical feel with accents of gleaming woodwork and stunning Galapagos wildlife photography.

Each stateroom has a comfortable couch or plush chair, and ample storage space with a closet and drawers.

Private en suite bathrooms include a hot-and-cold freshwater shower, toilet and sink, plus robes, fresh towels and bath products. An additional mirror and vanity area are located outside the bathroom.

Eight crew members in addition to the ship's captain and our two Nat Hab Expedition Leaders are on board to attend to every detail.

Enjoy fine meals with a view as you're seated alongside picture windows in the air-conditioned main floor dining room, or dine al fresco under the shaded outdoor patio near the bar on the upper deck.

Bright and inviting, the lounge has giant windows, long lengths of couch spaces and shining wood floors.
