New Smyrna Beach, which is located an hour's drive from Orlando, is the second oldest city in Florida, and celebrated its 250th birthday in 2018.
Located north of Kennedy Space Center and south of Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach is a beach town with a lush tropical landscape, white sand beach, colourful architecture, and a vibrant community.
Canal Street and Flagler Avenue lined with boutiques, art galleries, antique shops, independent stores along with bars and breweries, independent restaurants and artisanal coffee shops.
The area has 17 miles of sandy beaches from Ponce de Leon Inlet to Canaveral National Seashore.
The Indian River Lagoon, North America's most diverse estuary system, runs through a New Smyrna Beach and is home to more than 4,000 species of plants, animals, birds and marine life.
New Smyrna Beach will see a number of new properties opening in 2022, while others have undergone refurbishments :
- The Victoria Waterfront Estate, a new bed & breakfast and wedding venue, will open in early 2022 in a waterfront location overlooking the Indian River.

- The riverside Black Dolphin Inn, one of the area's luxury bed and breakfasts, will add additional homes to its existing space, increasing its exclusive capacity.
- Joy by the Sea is a newly-opened 5* resort of four-bedroom, oceanfront beach homes and upscale beachside villas.
Set to open in 2023 is a new, 114 room hotel, Hyatt Place hotel in the Third Avenue while the Salty Mermaid oceanfront hotel will undergo a complete redevelopment.
