​ Located in the South Dhaalu Atoll, a 40-minute seaplane flight from Male, Niyama Private Islands was recently named as one of the top resorts in the Indian Ocean by Conde Nast Traveler (US).

The resort has two islands Play and Chill to meet the needs of couples, families and adventure seekers, with 134 luxury villas from studios to water villas, all offering views of the clear waters.

There are nine restaurants including Edge, an overwater restaurant accessible by boat and Tribal for modern campfire dining fare,complete with tiki torches.

Guests can use Float,which offers PADI dive courses, or sailing on traditional Maldivian wooden boats called Dhonis, and there is also a marine biology lab for coral rehabilitation and education.
