Canada expedition cruise specialist, One Ocean Expeditions (OOE), has been granted a second Canadian Signature Experience (CSE) designation, with its 'Baffin Island – Jewel of the High Arctic' voyage.

The 12-day trip departs from Canada's capital of Ottawa and journeys up to Nunavut and along the east coast of Baffin Island.

In doing so it will provide access to remote communities, wildlife, natural beauty and diverse cultural experiences that combine to epitomise Canada's rich history.

Other highlights of the voyage include delving into the history of early exploration with a visit to former Hudson's Bay Company locations and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) outposts.

There is also a visit to Beechey Island, the final resting place for some of the men of the ill-fated Franklin Expedition in 1845-46.
