Portugal has been named Europe's Leading Destination, for the fourth consecutive year, in the World Travel Awards.

The city of Porto was named Europe's leading City Break Destination, with capital city Lisbon being named Europe's Leading Cruise Destination.
The Algarve was recognised as Europe's Leading Beach Destination, with Europe's leading Island Destination and the Azores named Europe's leading Adventure Tourism Destination.
Mainland Portugal, the Azores Islands and Madeira are able to offer year-round climate, landscapes and beaches along with UNESCO Heritage sites and historic heritage.
