Ranjit Recommends: Royal Afternoon Tea

Royally Red Rubens Royally Red Rubens

Rubens At The Palace Hotel was the venue for Royal Afternoon Tea. The theme for this sitting of one of the UK's most sumptuous culinary servings, was all things that resonated with the musical, Zog.

Zog is about a Dragon whose zealous nature meets at a crossroads with his propensity for clumsiness, and how an unexpected mentor attempts to guide him to stardom! Suffice to say whilst consuming Royal Afternoon Tea, you will all feel the sensations of fame when delving into sweet n savoury offerings whilst overlooking the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace!

Daring n Determined Dragons

Indeed, the Royal Mews, is the nerve centre for all means of road transportation for all members of the Royal Family. Whilst you witness a 260 year old Gold State Coach used for major State events such as Coronations, you will experience Gold graded service inside the Royal Afternoon Tea room!

The decor at Rubens At The Palace is as grand as it is cosy. From intricate vases boasting a plethora roses to warm looking red carpet. The crockery is beautifully arranged in a tiered fashion with the most fruitful provisions awaiting on the top tray! The finger sandwiches resonate with the most storied of British fillings, from smoked salmon to cream n cheese.

Elsewhere, the scones and cakes are crafted with all the richness that such delicacies deserve. The atmosphere is both majestic and melodious.

Furthermore, you will also be feeling like a Royal with the perks of unlimited tea. It's not only a matter of fact but a way of dining in such ambience! The staff even encourage you to work your way through all the brews on offer, from black teas to all things herbal.

Tea and Towering Trays of Treats will be best consumed if you bring your tenacious spirit with you to Rubens at The Palace
