Secret Atlas

AO-Secret-Atlas-1

Secret Atlas has joined the expedition cruise market with the launch of several micro cruises for just 12 guests to the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard.

The vessels create a lower impact on the environment than the much larger ships now visiting the polar regions.

This enables more intimate voyages will appeal to travellers wishing to experience an authentic expedition combined with the smallest group sizes in the Arctic and Antarctica.

secret Atlas use ice-strengthened, purpose-built expedition vessels with greater manoeuvrability than larger cruise ships.

This allows visitors to gain access to remote corners of this unspoilt wilderness, get closer to the wildlife and visit fascinating historical locations.

And with space for all guests in the Zodiacs, it allows all passengers to go ashore together.

The Natural Wonders of Svalbard is a 10-day expedition on board M/V Villa with departures from Longyearbyen during May, June, July and August.

One of the best places in the world to see polar bears, Svalbard is also home to walrus, whales, Arctic foxes, native reindeer and a plethora of bird species.

For keen photographers, Secret Atlas is also offering nine-day Natural Wonders of Svalbard Photo Tours during May 2022 and 2023.

The trips will be accompanied by Chase Teron, a highly experienced Arctic wildlife photographer.
