The beach has nearly 100% quartz-crystal sand, which is very fine to the touch and is snow-like white in colour.
Due to the crystals, the sand never gets hot under the Florida sun and makes beach time even more enjoyable.
The beach also gets ranked highly for its disabled accessibility, smoking ban and safety measures including year-round lifeguards.
