Open only since 28 October, Siyam World is a luxury 24-hour all-inclusive resort in the Maldives, launched by Sun Siyam Resorts, creators of the five-star multi-award-winning Iru Fushi.

Located on a stunning 54-hectare natural island nestled in the Noonu Atoll, Siyam World is claimed to be truly innovative and the very first multi-experience resort unlike anything the Maldives has ever seen.

The resort managers say the first thing guests will notice is the sense of space. A quirky, carefree playground promising an array of accommodation options and "never-seen-before" experiences across land, sea and sky, the location claims to offer a striking new vision for a Maldivian holiday.

Designed for couples, families or larger groups, an eclectic variety of 21 accommodation categories is available. These include one to six-bedroom villas, pavilions and the Beach House Collection residences. Accommodation options are set over water, on the beach or nestled among the tropical vegetation, all featuring generously proportioned indoor and outdoor living spaces with many boasting private pools.

Something for everyone

Sun Siyam Iru Fen – its full name – will also showcase the most extensive line-up of restaurants and bars in the Maldives, plus activities, excursions and experiences for every age and mood. There's even an entire kids' village to keep the youngest guests happy.

At Siyam World a crystal-clear lagoon meets pristine white sands, edged by an emerald-green canopy of swaying palms. Beneath the waves an aquatic wonderworld beckons divers, with the possibility of up-close-and-personal encounters with more than 1,200 species of marine life.

Siyam World is located in the popular Noonu Atoll, a 40-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport, or via a 30-minute domestic flight to Maafaru Airport followed by a 10-minute speedboat trip.
