Storrs Hall, which is located on the shores of Lake Windermere and was favoured by William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter has an Autumn Boathouse experience.

This allows guests to stay in boathouse with private steam room, outdoor Jacuzzi and countryside views, along with an hour-and-a-half private cruise on the Lake.

Lakeland poet William Wordsworth was among the guests in the Hall's heyday of private ownership and recited his Daffodils poem in the Drawing Room.

Beatrix Potter, famed for The Tale of Peter Rabbit, attended many parties there.

Storrs Hall was first established as a hotel in 1890 and was bought by North British Trust Hotels, in 1943.

They introduced some spectacular features such as the main bar bought from Blackpool's Winter Gardens.

Storrs Hall was bought in 1997 by Les Hindle, a Lancashire businessman, who has carried out a sympathetic restoration.
