The Château de Chantilly (Chantilly Castle) is a French château located in the town of Chantilly, Oise, some 30 miles from Paris.

It comprises the Petit Château built around 1560 for Anne de Montmorency and the Grand Château, which was destroyed during the French Revolution and rebuilt in the 1870s.

The château's art gallery, the Musée Condé, houses one of the finest collections of paintings in France, specialising in French paintings and book illuminations of the 15th and 16th centuries.

There is the chance to take a private tour with exclusive access to areas usually closed to the public.

The curator of the castle reveals pieces of art rarely shown including the Naked Mona Lisa (Leonardo Da Vinci) and a series of fragile Raphael drawings that never leave the castle.

Guests can also enjoy a private dinner cooked by a Michelin-star chef served in the Santuario room where The Three Graces by Italian painter Raphael is displayed and stay the night in a little palace in the garden that was commissioned by Henri IV.
