The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts holds its annual Mongolian summer camp from June to September.
It takes place in the Orkhon Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO site at the foot of the Khangai range, some 360 kms west of Ulaanbaatar.
The camp accommodates 20 guests, at a time, 'high end' camping, in ornate traditional Mongolian 'gers', and the chance to explore the landscapes by horseback, kayak, or on foot.
Guests can 'channel their inner Genghis Khan' with ancient Mongolian pursuits such as archery, horseriding and polo.
Steeds from there 100-strong herd are matched to each guest's personality traits by the camp's 'horse whisperers'.
Cashmere goat combing, river kayaking and trekking through grasslands is available, as is daily yoga, Mongolian massage and traditional healing rituals with a Shaman.
The camp is also an easy day trip from many important historic sites of the celebrated Silk Road, including the former capital of the Mongol Empire, Karakorum.
