A new travel concept by Off the Map Travel will allow guests to travel across Scandinavia and experience the best of the region in six mini-holidays.
The coordinated Scandinavia Six vacation experience includes six separate trips through four countries and is geared to travellers who are looking shorter, more frequent vacations.
Over the course of the year there will be the chance to get a real feel of Scandinavia with experiences ranging from log cabin stays, the Northern Lights and Midnight Sun and history-focused city breaks.
The six break itinerary could include :
- a weekend in Alesund, Norway with a suite stay at Hotel Storfjord and a private fjord cruise
- a long weekend in Kiruna and Abisko, Sweden with classic Arctic activities including snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and hunting for the Northern Lights
- a trip further north to Svalbard, Norway to experience Scandinavia's 24 hours of sunlight and the Midnight Sun with hiking, boat trips and wildlife viewing
- a journey to Rovaniemi, Finland for autumn colors and the start of the Aurora season, and
- a city break in Copenhagen, Denmark to provide an historical dimension to the package with a walking tour, visit to the city's many historic landmarks and a private boat trip on the canals.
Off the Map Travel, which specialises in 'soft adventure', will tailor the Scandinavian Six package to meet each guests needs.
