The Tatra National Park offers 1,150km of biking trails and 1,800km of hiking trails along with 50 peaks at more than 2,000m high.
Bear watching on bikes
There are around 150 brown bears roaming in the Tatras region with the chance to take a guided bike trip in early morning to try to spot these animals in their natural habitat.
It starts with a cycle to Ticha, the longest valley in the Tatras, or Koprova with views of the Liptovske Kopy mountain range.
Belianska Jaskyna Cave
The Belianska Jaskyna Cave, in Tatranska Kotlina, is the only one in the High Tatras open to the public and displays many types of natural cave decorations, including flowstone waterfalls and Pagoda stalagmites, within several cave halls.
