The walking trails of the Algarve

The Fonte de Benémola trail, Portimão

The Fonte de Benémola trail, which starts an hour from Portimaõ, passes through protected landscapes of woodlands, meadows and the river Menalva. It offers the chance to explore the natural beauty of Algarve.

One of its features are the small square pylos, or 'stepping stones' for crossing the shallow rivers.
