Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, Great Yarmouth

AO-Thrigby-lead-1

Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens was founded in 1979 by former rubber planter and wildlife enthusiast Ken Sims.

Its landscaped grounds feature a special collection of rare animals from Asia and includes endangered tigers, crocodiles and gibbons.

The Thrigby Hall Conservation Fund supports a range of local and international conservation projects.

During the Covid-19 restrictions, Thrigby Hall is offering a virtual look into the daily life of its endangered animals.

A Facebook-live link and pre-recorded videos enable viewers to enjoy feeding time with the tigers, watch the gibbons at play and view the Red Pandas in real-time action.

More than just a visitor attraction, Thrigby relies heavily on its admission fee to help fund its ongoing conservation work.
