Tides Lodge & Villa is on Ushongo Beach, 16km south of Pangani on the east coast.
Having its own private airstrip, Tides Lodge & Mawimbi Villa is accessible by road or light aircraft from the international airports of Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar, and the main safari destinations in the north and south of Tanzania.
The lodge is also very close to Ushongo Beach and, of the seven marine turtle species worldwide, five are found off of this coast as are dolphin.
There is also the chance to take in the reefs of nearby Maziwe Island Marine Reserve.
