TreeDwellers, Oxfordshire, UK

TreeDwellers, the UK's new treehouse specialist will launch its first location, in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, in March 2024.

The seven properties, encased in timber and glass to emulate nature's curves, will be situated within 1,700 acres of ancient woodland in Cornbury Park.

TreeDwellers is the 'brainchild of alternative accommodation guru and festival founder Tim Rees'.

They feature a fully functioning kitchen, living space with woodburning stove and one or two ensuite bedrooms, as well as an outdoor shower on the private terrace to deliver an unrivalled perspective of the forest floor below.

Each property is designed to appear engulfed in the trees, hovering at three metres above the forest floor and completely private.

The UK's first forest megaphone' will be hidden among the trees.

This will enable guests to relax in the nine-metre wooden structure, the largest in the world, and 'listen to the sounds and vibrations of the forest amplified around them'.

Guests will also receive a hamper of local treats on arrival including a sample of the region's finest cheese, tea and coffee by Missing Bean, Minor Figures oat milk and a bottle of sommelier selected wine. An on-site shop will be stocked with the daily essentials including locally sourced beer, wine and treats.

The concierge team will introduce guests to the local area, book private yoga classes, schedule in-room wellness treatments, recommend walking and cycling routes and suggest the best dining spots.
