Wild Guernsey

AO-Guernsey-2

Guernsey is one of the Channel Islands in the English Channel near the French coast.

It's known for beach resorts like Cobo Bay and the scenery of its coastal cliffs. Castle Cornet, a 13th-century harbor fortification in the capital of St. Peter Port, now contains history and military museums.

Hauteville House is the lavish former home of French writer, Victor Hugo.

WildGuernsey offers a green-living holiday with eco-camping close to the sea, locally grown food and foraging workshops.

WildGuernsey has grown from upcycling and charity shops and has made use of reclaimed items that adds a quirkiness to stays.

Families can stay in one of three WildCamping options in canvas tents, which are sustainably sourced.

Facilities include a fire pit and a horse box field kitchen to cook a supper of freshly caught food.

The wild food workshops explore the island's edible land and seascapes and are designed to engage families in earth education activities and fireside camp craft.
