Women-only ranch riding vacations in Arizona

Ranch Rider believes travellers are placing a much greater emphasis on the self and life-enrichment in their choice of travel pursuits and that having horse riding in the mix is one way of achieving this.

A ranch vacation is good for those who want to 'step out of their comfort zone and embrace their authentic selves', and one such experience is the four-day women-only, "Unbridle Your Creativity" retreat at Arizona's Rancho de la Osa.

It will be hosted by Devon Combs, 'The Cowgirl of the Wellness Industry' and Kris Drewry, published author and lifestyle blogger.

The retreat takes in Equine Gestalt Coaching (described as healing through interaction with horses) and trail riding.

Ranch Rider suggest pairing the riding holiday with their seven-night "Soul of Arizona" self-drive, the itinerary covering many of the state's landscapes like the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley.
