Norah Casey is a travel writer, specialising in women’s travel, particularly in experiential, sustainable, eco-tourism, and great adventures. Women want to experience travel in a more meaningful and authentic way and Norah has been travel writing since her early 20s as a young journalist all the way through to becoming a female founder, a widow, mother and advocate for women’s empowerment. She has owned and published women and lifestyle magazines and through it all maintained her monthly travel writing column. She has travelled to over 130 destinations and written extensively on her intrepid adventures from sailing the Grenadines, to zip lining into a newly opened rainforest camp in southern Thailand. She is an avid conservationist, growing up in a zoo and has spent many months in Africa, India and across Asia living in wildernesses and experiencing up close animal encounters.
