Born and raised in the UK, Barry Barford first worked in the maritime industry, which is probably where he gained his love of travel. He later worked in travel industry public relations before turning to travel writing and reporting. He has had articles published by Business Traveller, Media East, The Asian Business Review and Go World Travel among others.
