I’m an award-winning writer (food, drinks, travel) and photographer based in Washington, DC. In the past I’ve been a professor, food critic, columnist, magazine editor and Bill Murray’s stand-in/body-double. My first novel, Khawla’s Wall is published by Second Wind. The second, Altar Boys, is coming out later this year. I spent 15 years living in Okinawa, Tokyo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, South Korea and the UK.
