Laura is the main editor at The Historian Traveller - a blog of culture, history and travels. Laura has a PhD in Medieval History with a specialism in travels from Venice to the Orient and Middle East during the later middle ages. She is an avid traveller and passionate about historical locations and their re-interpretation in current society.

She founded the Historian Traveller in 2017, initially to document her academic trips for her PhD. During the following years, the Historian Traveller has become quite famous for its unique perspective and it's now read by more than 28.000 people monthly.

Laura's travel writing has always been accompanied by her passion for photography. Indeed, she personally curates all the pictures of her articles and Instagram channel. Her photographs have been featured by major media outlets like Canon, National Geographic, Wanderlust, CNN etc.
