Green Safaris was formed when founder Vincent Kouwenhouven identified tourism as a vehicle through which to pursue his aim to support conservation and help alleviate poverty in Zambia and then also neighbouring Zimbabwe

The company is a pioneer of the 'silent safari', using e-Cruisers (electric game vehicles) along with e-boats and e-mountain bikes.

The Green Safaris foundation is also channelling funds into a series of community projects.
