A seasoned travel industry specialist, Kathy’s company, Anderson Retail Tourism Marketing, spent 26 years promoting luxury shopping destinations throughout the U.S. to travel trade, media and consumers worldwide. While home is in Scottsdale, Kathy and her husband spend summers aboard a 52’ boat in San Diego. Due to her passion for art, travel and boating, she now writes about unique, handcrafted arts, crafts, fashion, food, decor and more, discovered in seaports and waterfront towns around the world.
Kathy travels by cruise ship, canal boat, river boat or land to seek out local artisans, makers, and creative shops that craft authentic, traditional art from their destination.
