A seasoned travel industry specialist, Kathy’s company, Anderson Retail Tourism Marketing, spent 26 years promoting luxury shopping destinations throughout the U.S. to travel trade, media and consumers worldwide. Since taking a hiatus in 2019, she and her husband have enjoyed living aboard a 52’ motor yacht in San Diego. Due to her passion for travel and boating, Kathy writes about unique, handcrafted arts, crafts, fashion, food, decor and more, discovered in seaports and waterfront towns around the world. As the Port of Call Shopper, Kathy travels by cruise ship, canal boat, river boat or land to seek out local retailers, galleries and studios showcasing a curated collection of artistic creations in each destination.
