Getting the travel bug at a very young age, I recall some of my happiest childhood memories were family vacations. Then having my own child, I looked at travel as education as we discovered new places and quality time that can't be measured. Now as an empty nester, the world is a playground and the possibilities are endless. It's a beautiful world out there. Travel makes people happy, and this is one reason I became a travel advisor in addition to a career in journalism (print and broadcast) and public relations (media relations and, more recently, digital content management). I write about destinations and insights into new cultures, foods and ways to enjoy nature. Luxury is about time, good health, friendships old and new, and an ever-enduring desire to see and do more.
