Rita Cook is a travel writer and editor who specializes in spas, food, cruises, arts and cultural travel. Her passion for the road less traveled began at a young age on family vacations around the U.S. It became a reality while living in Chicago and working as a travel editor for The Insider Mag, where she is now EiC. She has explored all 50 states, a good part of Canada and has visited and written about 108 countries during her career, offering readers insider tips and a unique look at the travel experience.
Rita often travels with her Bonjour World colleague Guillaume de Vaudrey and she has published 12 books (travel and non-travel related). She has written over 1,500 articles on travel and related topics for countless magazines nationally and internationally and also writes an auto column, and a film column. She is working on her doctorate in Quantum Metaphysics.
