Demand for adventure, wellness and activity retreats has seen a substantial increase in the last five years, including a surge in 2020.

Research by the motorhome rental company Camptoo finds wellness, activity and camping retreats are among the fastest-growing in the industry.

The benefits of a wellness retreat can be enhanced by adding something activity-based beit kayaking, hiking, surfing, wild swimming, climbing or mountain biking.

As well as the high demand for adrenaline-fueled pursuits, yoga retreats remain popular.
