The Alphonse group of atolls in the Indian Ocean is part of the Outer Islands of the Seychelles.

It offers white beaches at the edge of dense natural forest with the remains of old coconut groves.

There are tortoises, crabs and tropical birds along with one of the prime protected ocean fisheries.
