Four London street markets
London has some of the most vibran historic street markets of any city.
Four that deserve a visit :
Pop Brixton
The Pop Brixton is a hub for eclectic local independent enterprises including street food vendors, restaurants, retail spaces, social enterprises and creative studios.
Alongside a weekly free event programme including yoga, DJs, markets, there are culinary influences from Venezuela to Vietnam, including massive burgers and vegan salad bowls.
There's also 50% off cocktails before 7pm Monday to Wednesday.
Borough Market
Borough Market, a wholesale and retail market hall in Southwark, is one of the largest and oldest food markets in London, with a market on the site dating back to at least the 12th century.
Starting this summer, visitors will be able to shop for produce from all over Britain and the rest of the world at the market for four hours every Sunday.
It is the first time in the market's modern history that traders are on site seven days a week.
Broadway Market
Broadway Market is a Victorian East End street market situated in Hackney, just below London Fields.
This 'trendy' market is known for its vibe, as well as its quality.
It usually welcomes well over 100 stalls selling an array of goodies, including plenty of street food.
In addition to the thriving Saturday market, there are over 70 shops, cafés and restaurants open seven days a week from dawn to dusk.
Camden Market
Camden Market in north London is located in the historic former Pickfords stables.
It is vibrant market with a diverse community next to Regent's Canal.
There are over 1,000 unique shops, stalls, bars and cafes.
