Lights Over Lapland

Developed by Chad Blakely, owner of Lights Over Lapland, the new four night, five day experience includes taking over Chad's house in the heart of Abisko and creating a 'social bubble' with an experienced Arctic guide.
The trip starts at Kiruna airport where guests are met by their guide who will remain with them for the entire trip (having been temperature checked weekly).
It then includes a guided tour from Kiruna along Lake Torneträsk to the Northern Lights destination of Abisko, keeping an eye out for reindeer and moose along the way.
Guests can also choose from a range of daytime activities, including :
The traditional Swedish three bed house where guests will stay is on the edge of the Abisko National Park in the heart of the Arctic wilderness.
Guests can also snowmobile or dogsled.
Every evening, the guide will assess the weather and take the guests to the best place to experience the Northern Lights.
It might be in a traditional Sami Tepee, a harbour on the lake shore or a wilderness cabin.
Each guide is an experienced Aurora photographer, and every is guest given photography equipment and instruction.
In the last 10 years, Lights Over Lapland has never had a guest on the four-day trip who has not seen the lights.
