Lisbon the ‘Foodie Hotspot’ of the year

Lisbon has been awarded the 'Foodie Hotspot' of the year by the annual National Geographic Traveller UK reader awards 2019.

The annual Reader Awards celebrate the best places, experiences, hotels, operators, authors, and podcasts, which are shortlisted by judges and voted by the audience.

The hilly and coastal capital of Lisbon has a reputation for serving some of the best local dishes ranging from Pastels de Nata to Bacalhau.

Lisbon was also voted City Break Destination of the Year at the World Travel Awards.
