Meridian Adventure SAIL
Meridian Adventure SAIL is a new venture offering a fleet of catamarans to explore remote and unspoilt ocean locations while treading lightly and encouraging a passion for the environment and conservation.
Leaving a limited footprint is critical to each voyage and the environmentally friendly ethos means sailing from place to place
The focus for the launch is Raja Ampat, Indonesia, and the fleet may also be taken to other destinations such as Bora Bora, Fiji or Papua New Guinea.
Departures feature one to six catamarans, with up to 32 guests with the crew having all undertaken an 18 month training programme at the Meridian Training Academy.
Raja Ampat
Raja Ampat has more than 1,500 cast limestone isles, pristine waters and rugged landscapes, with crystal-clear waters for diving and snorkelling thanks to the Indonesian Through-Flow.
The Coral Triangle, around 75 percent of the world's coral species are found in Raja Ampat, with more than 12,000 fish species.
It is also one of the best places in the world to observe whale sharks.
