​ Restaurante La Cupula in the Hotel Jardines de Nivaria has unveiled its new ceiling with an avant-garde painting of the "supernova".

It represents the colourful explosion that occurs when the largest star in the universe reaches the end of its life.

La Cúpula is located on the fourth floor of and serves a food which fuses French and local Canarian cuisines, prepared by Chef Rubén Cabrera – recently awarded 'Best Chef in the Canary Islands' by the ¡Qué Bueno! Canarias Heineken regional gastronomy awards.

Jardines de Nivaria is found in an exclusive area of the Costa Adeje, in the south of Tenerife, with direct access to the Playa de Fañabé beach.

It is 17km away from the Reina Sofia international airport.
