Research by Showerstoyou.co.uk has revealed the most Instagrammable lakes around the world, based on the number of hashtags per lake.
In the first place is the England's Lake District with 2,951,548 hashtags for this ribbon of glacial water.
Lake Tahoe and Lake Michigan in the US came next, followed by Italy's Lake Como and the Dead Sea.
