Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som, Qatar
The Zulal Wellness Resort, which opens in 2021 will be the Middle East's first full-immersion wellness resort.
The resort will also be the world's first centre for traditional Arabic and Islamic Medicine.
It will be in Khasooma, a private coastal location in north of Qatar.
Zulal is an Arabic word which means 'pure natural water' and is used to reflect the rejuvenating properties of the natural water found in the desert.
The resort will offer a 'menu of Arabic and Mediterranean wellness cuisine, as well as cutting-edge architecture and services inspired by local heritage'.
It will cater for families with the Discovery Resort, promoting shared experiences and dedicated children's activities, alongside its adults-only Serenity Resort.
